AVENUES: THE PLACEMENT CELL
Avenues - The Placement Cell of Kirori Mal College, is one of the oldest and the most active placement cells of Delhi University. The main objective of Team Avenues is to bridge the gap between the stringent competition in the industry and the incredible potential available in the college. It serves to assist the students in the corporate world.
An extensive profile diversity has been seen every year, with companies recruiting students for varied profiles ranging from consulting to research to auditing.
The placement cell has always attempted to discover each student's potential and has worked tirelessly to initiate programmes that provide exposure necessary to sharpen skills and foster talent in students. From the first year itself, students are exposed to prestigious internship opportunities to give their corporate acumen a finesse by the time they're ready to sit for Recruitment Procedures in their final year. The Cell acts as a strong interlink between students and the corporate sector, ensuring that each job candidate meets his or her employer.
The Placement sessions are a great success with students coming from diverse academic backgrounds.
A testimony to the success of the Placement Cell lies in the diverse set of more than 226 recruiters that are welcomed in the campus.The Cell recognizes the significance of supplying the scholars with opportunities from numerous domains. As a result of which, companies from more than 15 sectors recruit from our college.
Avenues strives for a common goal of providing students with a wide range of internship opportunities, thereby acting as a building square in upgrading their corporate capability and preparing them to step into the endless corporate world. Despite a slightly adverse macro environment for hiring, our valued base of recruiting organisations has continued to repose its faith in our students. We have also succeeded in adding some new companies to this solid foundation that have furnished towering stipends and lucrative incentives to the students

Case competitions like BrAINWARS, HSBC: Business Case Program, Deloitte Graduate School Maverick, and EY India Cafta have significantly enhanced the spirit of collaboration and problem-solving abilities among students. These competitions have fostered a culture of teamwork and showcased the students' continued successful association with the participating companies.
Levitate '23, the annual corporate fest organised by Team Avenues at Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, successfully provided students with valuable corporate exposure and networking opportunities. The event facilitated direct interactions between students and accomplished alumni, enabling knowledge sharing, career guidance, and incorporating a vibrant corporate dimension. The fest fulfilled its objectives by offering a holistic experience for all participants.
